Since 1994 the United Agency Rural Agent Program has provided agencies across Kansas with a unique opportunity to reach a personal lines market they could not reach on their own, providing the access to Safeco personal lines

This innovative and unique program is not a brokerage arrangement. Agents get a regular Safeco Insurance contract with all the rights and responsibilities that go with a direct company contract.  They send their business through United Agency in Arkansas City.  Agents have low volume requirements; they own the business and deal directly on claims.

 Our program continues to benefit agents in need of a competitive personal market.  Some agents have said it provides a safety net when other markets put limits on their ability to write new business.
